Use the Manage Project Organization Classifications task to classify organizations as a project and task owning organization or to incur expenses. These settings are used during the project creation flow to restrict the list of organizations that can own the project.

In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Project Organization Classifications task in the Project Organizations functional area.

On the Manage Project Organization Classifications page, in the Search region, select Department in the Classification field, enter current date in Effective Date field, and click Search.

In the Search Results region, select Operations East and Operations West rows and click Edit.

On the Edit Project Organization Classifications page, in the Review Selected Organizations section, click Continue to enable the Classify Organizations section.

In the Classify Organizations section, complete the fields.
- Click Save and Continue.
